Charlie began practicing yoga to find more flexibility, strength and opening in his body following a bicycling accident. It wasn’t long before he began to recognize not only the healing in his damaged shoulder but in his entire body as well. Each day at practice yoga allowed him to open his body further while quieting the mind and discovering the power of breath. Practicing three days a week quickly became five days a week until yoga and pranayama breathing became a daily ritual. In 2012 Charlie completed his 200 hour Yoga Alliance teaching certification and began teaching. He loves guiding students as they focus on breath and posture alignment, encouraging playfulness in everyone’s practice, and providing a moving meditation that is positive and uplifting.
