Jules started practicing Yoga in 2009 and was immediately drawn to the mind/body benefits of the practice. While learning to cope with back and knee injuries as well as a chronic illness she has slowly developed the ability to find comfort and joy on her mat. She completed an alignment-based 200-hour
Vinyasa Teacher Training at Sol Yoga in La Jolla, CA in 2014.
Her goals as an instructor are to create a space for people to cultivate inner strength, self-acceptance and compassion as well as finding whatever it is that their minds, bodies and spirits are calling for on a
particular day and to inspire people to move their bodies in a way that is safe and healthy for them.
She has been blessed beyond measure to have practiced with and been guided by some very accomplished and knowledgeable instructors and she continues to practice with and learn from these
amazing human beings. These special people have enabled her to create more space in her body and find ease in her asana practice. They have also inspired her to open her heart, become more present,
face her fears and have taught her one of the most valuable lessons she’s learned which is: wherever you are is exactly where you need to be.
Jules feels that it would be an honor for her to be of service to others in offering these gifts or opening people up to any of the other wonderful treasures yoga has to offer. Her point of view on asana is that it doesn’t matter how deep into a posture you go, what matters is that you connect with how you feel when you arrive.
