Lauren Terris

LT first committed to a yoga practice in college while studying for her undergraduate degree, training as a coxswain with Northeastern University’s Women’s Rowing Team, and working as an intern for a Fortune 50 insurance company. She found yoga offered a physical challenge, but at the same time a calming effect that she craved during the busiest of days. After college, LT moved to Atlanta, Georgia to pursue work in renewable energy, and it was during this time that yoga became a powerful constant force in her life. During the first year in Atlanta, she realized her practice was more fulfilling than the corporate lifestyle she was living and decided to obtain her RYT-200 certification at Buddhi Yoga in La Jolla, CA. Convinced that the universe is guiding her towards a path of sharing the practice with others, LT moved to San Diego in 2018 after completing her RYT-500 certification at Red Hot Yoga in Atlanta, GA.

LT’s classes are challenging, thoughtfully composed and set to specially curated music. Her mission as a teacher is to provide a safe space for students to connect with their true Selves. Through her teaching, you will learn ways to create space physically, mentally, and emotionally and cultivate presence in the world on and off your mat.
