Arm balances are empowering postures that teach us not only about our inner strength, but also about our inner playfulness and courage. In this 2 hour workshop we begin with an hour long fun vinyasa flow emphasizing our core, shoulders, and balance followed by an hour of playing with basic to intermediate arm balance poses. Learn how to shift your weight, engage the proper muscle groups, and counter-balance so your arms hold the least amount of weight possible in order to do exciting and challenging arm-balances like Bakasana (crow) , Parsva Bakasana (side crow) , Eka Pada Koundinyasana (hurdler’s) Dwi Pada Koundinyasana and more!
